
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Zongo Campaign Team has taken its campaign to the Abuakwa Block in the Eastern Region, aiming to rally support among Zongo communities by educating them about Dr. Bawumia’s vision for their development.
The Abuakwa Block encompasses the constituencies of Atiwa East, Atiwa West, Abuakwa North, Abuakwa South, Fanteakwa South, and Fanteakwa North.
During the meeting, Hon. Ben Abdallah Banda, the NPP National Zongo Coordinator, articulated the purpose of the gathering: to inform chiefs, Imams, opinion leaders, youth groups, and residents of Zongo communities about the importance of retaining NPP leadership and voting for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Hon. Abdallah also addressed concerns regarding Hajj arrangements for Muslims and outlined plans for further development in Zongo areas.
He urged the NDC to refrain from using propaganda to mislead these communities, asserting that the NPP is committed to upholding the dignity of Muslims and improving conditions in Zongo areas.
He highlighted various developmental projects initiated by the NPP government over the past seven years, focusing on advancements in education, health, and social welfare.

The Women Organizer for Fanteakwa South Constituency, Mrs. Clara Yaa Osei, emphasized the need to mobilize Zongo women, particularly Muslims, to enhance voter turnout for the NPP in 2024.
She reiterated Dr. Bawumia’s dedication to developing Zongo communities through effective policies and initiatives.
The event showcased a strong commitment from party officials to engage with Zongo communities and ensure their voices are heard in the political landscape as Ghana approaches its next general elections.
