Hajia Rabiatu Agyarko has been installed as the kontihemaa of Mangoase traditional area located in the eastern part of the country.
Give a stool name as Nana Akosua Agyarko I,the newly crowned kontihemaa, pledges her commitment to implementing developmental projects throughout the Mangoase community to enhance its overall welfare.
Following her coronation as the first female Kontihemaa in the community,Nana Agyarko I emphasized that it is the responsibility of a Kontihemaa/Kontihene to oversee the development of their designated community,adding she intends in fulfilling her role diligently.
She alluded that the acceptance of the title was motivated by the community’s lack of developmental projects despite its historical existence.
According to her, the Managoase community has suffered from inadequate infrastructure, including poor roads, limited employment opportunities, and insufficient educational facilities, which were key factors in her decision to assume this leadership role.
Reiterating her dedication, Nana Agyarko, I committed to advocating for necessary developmental projects that would modernize the community.
She expressed her determination to do her utmost best as the new Kontihemaa to call upon the government and various stakeholders to support her efforts in realizing these promises for her community and its residents.
On health related issues, Nana Agyarko I advise the youth of Mangoase to stay away from drugs because it will have negative repercussions on their lives.
According to her,most of the youth these days are more into drugs,”every society it takes strong and healthy youth workforce to develop the community.”
