The Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region,Hon. Hon. Duke Ofori Atta,has supported 3 2024 Best Performing BECE students with award for excelling in their BECE Exams within his constituency during the last year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination.

He pledged to support the Best Performing Students who would attain Single digits to Motivates other students and the award scheme also seeks to honour outstanding Best TEACHERS for their exemplary performance of hardworking and PARENTS for their ground-breaking work that affected and transformed the Children’s lives of learning.

Addressing at the occasion, Hon. Duke Ofori Atta stressed, it was in line with his vision to ensure that Students are motivated to make good grades and decided to rewards the 3 selected Best-performing students with a Brand New Laptops and an undisclosed Cash amount of money each from his personal fundings to improve BECE results in the constituency, and said recently, the best performing students had gained admission to various senior high schools in the country, whiles commended and encouraged those who are yet to write their BECE this year to do it well with excelence.

In Furtherance, Hon. Mercy Korang,the District Chief Executive for Fanteakwa South, commended the initiative of the MP in collaboration with the Fanteakwa South District Education Directorate to improve BECE results in the constituency and she also Promised to henceforth intiates a scholaships for Best BECE candidates with single digits figures to University, whiles advised the beneficiaries to make good use of the items and cash given to them to improve their academic performance.

Finally, Mr. Richard Akosah Addo,the Fanteakwa South District Education Director, expressed, gratitude to the honourable MP, Hon. Duke Ofori Atta, for his continued support of education in the Districts and commended him of his vision to provide quality education for the Children in the constituency, stressing education is the best legacy to bequeath the Children, stated the initiative was not only to recognise pupils who performed well at the BECE but also to encourage them to take their education serious and transformed the lives of the learners.

He said, education is a core responsibility to all so therefore, called on Parents to train their children well to enable them take their life serious on education and also used the occassion to praised the teacher’s dedication and enthusiasm inspired of them in the Districts, whiles highlighted their challenges as lack of teacher’s Tables, Chairs and Desktops at their offices.
