HON. TAMIMU HALIDU LEADS MASSIVE CLEAN-UP EXERCISE
The Kwahu West Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon. Tamimu Halidu, joined residents, traders, Assembly Members, Fire service, and umbulance service actively participated in the clean-up exercise within the municipality.
The exercise reaffirmed a collective commitment to keep Kwahu West clean and the exercise covered major sections of Central Business Centre and it’s environmental areas as part of efforts to improve environmental cleanliness and also promote responsible waste management in the municipality.
Speaking after the exercise, Hon. Tamimu Halidu,commended participants for their dedication and called for sustained public cooperation in maintaining environmental cleanliness within the municipality.
On his part, Mr. Eric Klenam,the Director of KLENAV Sanitation Company,Private waste collection firm incharge of Kwahu West Municipality, reaffirmed it’s commitment to creating a cleaner and healthier environment for the citizens.
He therefore, urged residents, traders, and all stakeholders to refrain from illegal waste dumping after sweeping to improve overall sanitation standards in the Municipality.
