The Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, visited traders at Kantamanto in Accra on Friday, December 22, to gather feedback on the security arrangements put in place for Christmas.
This visit followed an earlier meeting between the IGP and the traders at the Police headquarters.
Accompanied by some Members of the Police Management Board, Dr. Dampare expressed satisfaction that the security measures implemented at Kantamanto were yielding positive results.
He assured the traders that the police were prepared to do more to enhance security.
The purpose of the visit, according to the IGP, was to receive feedback on the effectiveness of the current security measures, aiming to identify areas of improvement and ensure that traders feel secure.
