KWAHU WEST,MCE TOURS BECE CENTRES,URGED CANDIDATES TO DESIST FROM EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES
The Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu West Kwahu West Municipal Assembly,Hon. Tamimu Halidu has advised the BECE candidates to be disciplined and desist from examination malpractices.
During a tour at various centres at the ongoing BasicEducationCertificate Examination, Mr Tamimu Halidu urged candidates to do away with fear and panic.

He commended the Teacher’s for their hard work towards the examination by acknowledging the dedication of their interventions rolled out by the Directorate to ensure the candidates were ready for the examinations.
On his part, the Education Director of Kwahu West Municipality,Mr. George Yankyera,in an interview expressed,in all, a total of 2,674 candidates from both Public and Private schools made up of 1,298 males and 1,376 females with 2 visually impaired Students and 1 physically challenge disabled as well as *2* lacteting mother’s all writing this years BECE examination, unfortunately 11 candidates were Absents, and the *11 absenteeism* were;
1 Pregnant woman
1 fresh lactating mother
6 boys absenteeism unkown 3 girls absenteeism not known in the municipality.

Mr. Yankyera,interacting with the candidates encouraged them to make the Municipality proud by given the Kwahu West Municipality the Highest Mark of more SINGLE DIGITS this year’s BECE examination, whiles commended the turnout as encouraging in all the *11* Centres, and assured that measures would be taken to give the 11 absentee’s a chance to write their Exams since they have registered when contacting them.

Finally, on their part, Some Students after the First Paper of SOCIAL STUDIES, expressed how easy the exams were stressing, so far they confronted with what they learnt and believed strongly that, they would they would pass with good grades.
