
Niikoitruman recently celebrated the Homowo festival, showcasing their commitment to improving the lives of their residents.
Adjen Kotoku Niikoitruman Mantse, Nii Kotei Tsuru II, during the celebration, spoke about the town’s progress and challenges, highlighting the importance of unity and collective effort for the betterment of the area.
The traditional leader admonished various initiatives aimed at addressing pressing issues affecting the community.

At the heart of their initiatives is a strong focus on education, recognizing the challenges many children face, including substance abuse and child labour.
He hinted that some children as young as four years old are often found selling goods at the market instead of attending school.”By prioritizing education, the town aims to provide a brighter future for its young generation.”

According to him, their healthcare system is currently facing some challenges, which they hope to address through collaborative efforts and support from leaders.
Nii Kotei Tsuru II believes that with the right resources and attention, they can nurture future leaders, including potential presidents and ministers, from within their community.

Through these projects, the town is working towards creating a more prosperous and healthy environment for all its residents. The Homowo celebration served as a reminder of the community’s resilience and determination to build a better future for themselves and future generations.
