Hon. Bishop T/Dr. Samuel David, also known as Samuel K. Denoon, Founder of Solution Center and Herbal Church and Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Amasaman Constituency 2024, has called on traditional leaders and residents to mark this year’s Homowo Festival with peace, unity, and caution.
In a statement, Bishop Samuel urged all Ga Chiefs, Assembly Members, Politicians, and citizens to use Homowo as an opportunity to promote togetherness in Ga State and Amasaman.
He specifically advised those who will be using gunpowder during the festivities to exercise extreme care.
“People can also intervene with different powers,” he warned, stressing that restraint is needed to avoid violence or harm during the celebration.
The Bishop further called on Ga Chiefs, Assembly Members, Politicians, and Security Agencies to remain vigilant throughout the festival period to ensure the safety of all residents.
“Homowo should be celebrated with culture, not conflict. Peace must come first,” Bishop Samuel concluded.
